The Motor City has seen its ups and downs, but has always persevered. Innovation and creative collaboration is in its DNA, from the electric car to Motown Sound and more.
We base our HQ in Techtown Detroit, an inclusive incubator and co-working space, because it’s a hub alive with entrepreneurial action. This infectious energy, grit and purpose inspires us to do everything we can for small business entrepreneurs locally and far beyond the city of Detroit.

After years of running programs to help small businesses, our founders realized we had to jumpstart a radical shift. Entrepreneurs needed better support in a quickly evolving business landscape, where traditional systems lacked flexibility, creativity, and connection.
Excelerate America was born in 2017 because our team imagined a better way forward.
We envisioned a vibrant world of successful, happy entrepreneurs empowered to build businesses they love. It’s audacious, but it’s also pretty simple. A collective of game changers united and thriving across the country.
